The Nico the Nomad Fox children’s book series was created with one big purpose: to make a difference in the lives of people in Nepal.

For years, author Rodney Haines has volunteered in Nepal—helping to deliver wheelchairs, supporting orphanages, replacing bridges washed out by monsoons, and collecting cans and bottles back home to fund it all. But he wanted to do more and to get others involved, especially kids.

That’s how Nico the Nomad Fox was born.

Each story follows Nico, a curious and kind-hearted fox who travels the world learning about new cultures, helping people, and making friends. These books aren't just fun adventures—they’re tools to inspire compassion, raise awareness, and generate real support.

All proceeds from the books go toward Give to Nepal projects including a growing waitlist of over 600 people in need of wheelchairs.

By reading Nico’s stories, families and children can explore the world together—and help change lives in Nepal at the same time.
